I had to turn it off at half time due to little league practice . Wright must have some choice words to light a fire. They need to find a way to play with that kind of fire every half and game here on out. They know it can be done, just need the desire for the execution.

Down by 26 with 18:58 left in the game, Western started a major comeback by going on a 20-0 run and did get within one point a few times. Western shot 38% in the first half and 52% in the second half.

Garret Covington led the Western scoring with 22 points. Mike Miklusak had 21.

Western struggled at the free throw line: 12 for 21.

Delo Bruster played 6 minutes in the game. He hobbled off the court and did not return.

Attendance at Western Hall = 804.

Next game will be Saturday (Feb 18) at North Dakota State. Game time is 4PM. The game will be on ESPN3. This will be the last road game. The final two games of the season will be at Western Hall.

In Thursday night's game, Omaha beat Oral Roberts 83-76 in overtime.
