Jeremiah is a better defender and rebounder

Close game. Gilbeck is showing huge improvement.

If we get them again in Sioux Falls and play like that, we will have a lot of South Dakota fans on our side.

better at staying in front of ball handler but you need a threat on offense, Ancrum got cold on the bench, He was hot all game.. Doesn't matter , Covington was fatigued and just went cold. Great game

I am a bit surprised because I thought with it being their senior night it was going to turn ugly with the refs help.

Ancrum also makes some careless mistakes that as a junior he should not make. Jeremiah is a freshman and still learning.

I am sure the boys don't want to hear about moral victories, but they played well and just ran out of gas.

Ancrum is a liability on defense for sure. Not quick enough to defend guards. Not physical enough to defend around the bucket. But with less than 30 seconds on the clock and ball in our possession, he should have been on the court.

I see what you are saying, but ,, Ancrum was a big reason we were in this game.. you need to see the whole picture. Useosefe doesnt defend that well either. He did finally hit some shots, and thats great.
