I would play a zone with Gilbeck in the block and put him on an imaginary 12 foot leash.

Johnson seems to be the emerging star in the making for us.

The $64K question is do you spend the next couple of weeks working on something special to bring to Sioux Falls? It looks like we will be playing either the Jacks or Yotes. I don't see us staying close to either one playing just our usual game even if the execution is much better.

Johnson has looked promising the past 2 games.
I think you have to throw in a few wrinkles to throw them off momentarily.

I don't know if Wright has really used a zone all season. At least it should help to giving up all the layups for easy buckets and protect Big Red from fouling out of each half in the first few minutes. We dont have the defenders to play man the entire game.

The defenders that were assigned to Daum had a difficult time. There was the situation of grabbing or holding him while he was moving for many of the fouls that were called. #22 Morgan picked up all his fouls hanging on while Daum was in motion. Johnson was on fire as he shot and made many shots under pressure. Duff and Bruster did OK, but Johnson did a bunch. The big 3 of Ancrum, Webster, and Gilbeck were struggling.

You know you are having a bad day when you fall behind at a greater velocity than before.

I gotta steal that one and make it my signature.
