How can a team get only 2 assists in a 40 minute basketball game? This is not a one off. It is a disturbing trend that continues. There is just no offensive flow whatsoever. Four guards taking their postions 25 feet out. A big goes out and sets a weak pick for whoever has the ball. That guy ignores (maybe wisely) the half-hearted attempt at a roll to the bucket. The look of frustration sets in and he either forces the issue with a drive to paint or throws up a long-distance prayer. Wash, rinse, repeat. This is NBA basketball at its best. The only thing wrong is that we don't have players who can consistently finish strong or nail the 3s.

One of the low points of the game was seeing the number of people who were walking out the door at half-time.

The crowds at the Men's games have not been very large this season. It will take some very aggressive marketing, promoting, and pricing to get the crowd interest back up for the next season.

I mean, we are reaching DT era attendance. Not there yet, but close....

I would say they are mirror images but billy doesn’t have as much controversy surrounding the program. He also doesn’t have as much talent as DT had.

I agree, that Billy does not have as much talent as DT had. I have said this before, but Coach Mo knew what he was doing when he left , and he left Billy with a mess to clean up. An extreme number of players had been dismissed or transferred during Coach Mo's tenure. All of this turnover leads to violations for programs, and we were on the verge of violations. When Billy took over the team there were 6-7 people left on the roster and April when you know most decent talent is already committed, so he is left filling a roster with bodies and band aids. The bodies and band aids can not be dismissed because the program is attempting to stabilize APR. I think the talent has started with the sophomore class, but they are young and definitely inconsistent. Not an excuse just something to think about because that game last night was really disappointing.
I believe this team somewhat goes as Dalan goes and he has been inconsistent his whole career, and you definitely know his mind set was unfocused with an absence of parent on senior night.
