Hard to take a reading off a game like this. Chicago St looked like they just got off the bus after a 5 hour bus ride. I dont know if they came in yesterday or not.

This was a game i was 50/50 on they only lost by 4 to ISU and had beaten EIU we did a nice of get up on them and never letting them make a run. It was great to see them get the Ball inside.

Western wins the game 81-52.

C.J. Duff led the Western scoring with 17 points. Kobe Webster had 16. Brandon Gilbeck had 12. Zion Young had 10.

Brandon Gilbeck had 6 blocks.

Western shot 51% for the game (29 for 57).

Attendance at Western Hall = 352.

#30 Jake Weyhrich is now dressing for the game. He got into the game in the last minute. He is from Manito. He had several family members at the game.

Next game will be on December 28 when South Dakota State comes to town for a Men's & Women's double-header. The Men's game will be at 4:30 PM with the Women's game to follow.

Nothing like playing Chicago St to cure your ills and snap a losing streak.

Now we'll see what this team is really made of, with conference season starting.
