Not sure what is going on with the radio broadcasts of the games.

WJEQ was playing music instead of the post-game show.

I was going nuts in my truck after the game trying to find the postgame interview.

As for the game, my thoughts.

Both teams were fairly evenly matched talent wise IMHO.
As pointed out earlier, our defense is terrible. We must have given up 7 or 8 easy buckets to them.
by exposing the baseline. That is basketball 101, you never do that. You defend the baseline and
expect help from the other direction.
Billy lives and dies by his system, just like Mo did but Billy's system only works when we shoot 50%Plus from beyond the arc.
Down by 10 with 10 minutes to go. That is the time to turn on the full court pressure. Not when 2 minutes are left in the
game. Players know that and you could see they were done with 5 minutes left.

Also agree with the lack of any offensive rebounding. This has been a thing for years. Boils down to relying on guard play too much.
Arrington and Claar are a nice complement around the boards. Play them both at the same time. Our guards are not producing enough
offensively. Might as well concentrate on picking up a few extra boards to give a few extra second chances to score.

My friend and I arrived while national anthem was being sung. He pointed out that the Dons starting line up was
not announced. Was that right? Is that a thing now? Can a team decide whether or not they want to be introduced
before game starts?

Not that I'm aware of. Most of the time they do team announcements prior to the national anthem though, so if you showed up during that, they might have done it earlier.

They definitely did Western starting lineups after the anthem because we were in our seats at that time watching it.

WJEQ has not been a reliable broadcast partner. There have been problems with their broadcast for both football and now basketball.

The starting line-ups are announced after the National Anthem. The visitor's line-up is announced with the lights on. Western's line-up is announced with the lights off.

Purdue Fort Wayne's starting line-up was announced.

Watched some replay of the game this AM. The two students doing the broadcast do a pretty admirable job. Kudos to them.

Cival War Offense of " Shoot and Fall back" is disgusting to say the least. Absolutely no following of shots and only Claar or Arrington ever in boards. Time for change. HORIZON League would be a reunion of former Mid Continent, but unfortunately don't see an invite forth coming.

We rank 268 out of 350 in offensive rebounds with 8.9 per game. Not the worst in the Summit League as NDSU stakes claim to that prize (289th 8.5 per).

I would move Arrington into starting lineup and bring Duff off the bench. The two bigs can set can set some back picks to free up Pyle.
Pyle seems to be money if he can get open looks.

I agree with they have to try something to mix things up with the lineup. In my personal opinion, Duff is the only one that actually plays consistently decent defense. But man...Webster easily got flat out beat for easy layups on at least 6 different occasions.
