Dentlinger may throw some game at his match as he has started picking up steam. Appel is also coming into games with some positive minutes as well.

Pearson and Anhold in together. Maybe just maybe the best 4-5 combo we have seen on the court in over a decade.

Down 41-28 at half. Started out very good. Got into some foul trouble and Jacks took advantage of some defensive lapses. Been there, done that.

83-77 Jacks. Game of runs. Jacks had a couple big ones. We had a nice one to get it close at the end. Lots of good things to take away from this one. Mainly, you know you can compete with these guys in a tough environment. Foul differential was key. We had 25, them only 14.

South Dakota State won Friday night's game 83-77.

Adam Anhold led the Western scoring with 16 points. Ramean Hinton had 13. Justin Brookens had 12. Will Carius had 10.

Three Western players fouled out: Tamell Pearson, Rod Johnson, and Will Carius.

Western out-rebounded South Dakota State 40-32.

Attendance at South Dakota State = 623.

Game 2 in this series will be Saturday at 7:30 PM.

I'm guess everyones family jewels are ok after the game as i seen Freidel didn't play.
