2017-2018 Schedule

Post by ST_Lawson » Wed May 31, 2017 10:26 am

No full schedule announcement, but I figured I could start a thread talking about it, so we can start posting news when we find it.

Starting with this... I wonder if last year's success is paying dividends with better scheduling options.

Stanford is a good get for the Leathernecks. BTW, Stanford sponsors 20 varsity sports for their ladies. That is 3 more than Western sponsors for both genders. This might be a trip I will have to do. December is not much cooler than August out there (only 10 degrees or so). Some people credit Mark Twain with the famous quote “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” I spent a couple weeks out there on business and have to agree that it can be a bit chilly when the fog rolls in off the ocean. The temperature can drop 20 degrees in 10 minutes when that happens. But back to Twain. That quote is "fake news". He never said it. You can take it to the bank.

If you stop challenging your mind, body, and soul, might as well get out the shovel and start digging your hole.
