Last home games of the season on Friday and Saturday. Game time is 4:30 PM.

The games will be on ESPN + and also on WIUS Radio (88.3 FM).

Western won Friday's game 85-68.

Elizabeth Lutz led the Western scoring with 22 points and 14 rebounds, Carla Flores had 13 points. Grace Gilmore had 12.

Western had 16 three-point baskets. Sam Pryor had 7. Elizabeth Lutz had 6.

Game 2 will be Saturday at 4:30 PM. That will be the last home game of the season. That game will be on ESPN + and also on WIUS Radio (88.3 FM).

Leatherneck defense denies Denver.

Western won Saturday's game 90-82.

Danni Nichols led the Western scoring with 24 points. Grace Gilmore had 20. Evan Zars had 12 points and 13 rebounds. Sam Pryor had 12 points. Elizabeth Lutz had 10.

Western will have its Bye Weekend next week.

Next games will be at Oral Roberts on Feb 27 & 28. Those will be the final games of the regular season. The Summit League Tournament will start on March 6.

Leathernecks hold on to complete sweep of Denver.

Anyone get a chance to talk to former Leatherneck and current Denver HC Doshia Woods while she made her first trip back to Western since she played? I believe this was her first trip back. She still donates to the Leatherneck Club.

Looks like we have a firm lock on the #5 seed in tournament and will face UMKC in quarters. Avoiding the *Dakota* schools in the opening round is where you want to be in a non-COVID year. Not sure it makes too much difference this year.
