Belly stuffed with some Ruby Tuesday appetizers. Going with a backup laptop to watch this as my good laptop hard disk crashed this morning. That's enough bad luck for one day.

LETS DO THIS!

Whoa....what a game. I am absolutely beat. Big, energetic crowd...groups of students leading cheers rather than just the pep band being the only loud ones in the place...had a great run to start the game, but SDSU clawed back in it. From there on out it was close pretty much the whole game until a scrum for the ball resulted in a technical foul on SDSU and essentially gave us enough of a lead to finish with the win. Still, very close at the end. That was easily the most exciting sporting event I've watched since game 7 of the World Series.

We're now #1 in the Summit League. Haven't locked up the regular season championship quite yet, but this was a huge step towards the regular season "finish line".

I hope you are able to complete the season following this game. I was hoping for 20 in a row, but JD had his team ready. The yotes will have this same trail next week as they attempt another regular season title. Congrats on the win. 2 weeks till Sioux Falls and I would expect the Jackrabbits will be ready for more games.

Western wins 83-77!

Western is now 11-3 in the Summit League and 21-6 overall.

Emily Clemens led the Western scoring with 20 points. Morgan Blumer had 18. Olivia Braun had 17.

Western was 10 for 27 on three-pointers and 25 for 32 on free throw attempts.

The attendance was posted as 1,303. But it sure looked larger than that. There was a big crowd of people up in the balcony.

Next game will be next Wednesday vs IPFW. Game time is 7PM. The game will be on ESPN3.

kind of hard to get an accurate attendance when one of the main entrance doesn't take tickets I've went to almost every home game and no one has taken my ticket at any of the games.

This is awesome for the ladies. Wish I could have made it. Glad to see the seats mostly full for them as they are playing some great team basketball! The boys could learn a thing or two.

Hopefully they can keep things going into the tournament. If they get hot they can play with anyone!
