In another exciting hard-fought game, the other semifinal game saw IUPUI take down SDSU in overtime. Regulation ended at a 49-point tie, but IUPUI was able to hit a couple more shots in OT, winning 65-61.
Western lost both regular season games against the #2 ranked Jaguars, falling 66-52 in Indianapolis on December 31st and then losing 76-72 back in Macomb on January 25th...that was Military Appreciation Night, the night that Blumer hit the 3/4 court shot to end one of the quarters, and also the last time the Leathernecks lost a game. IUPUI is playing some good basketball and is currently riding a 7-game win streak.
It won't be an easy game, but we've got a great team, a few hours more rest (if that makes much of a difference), and an opponent coming off of a tough overtime battle to advance.
Go Leathernecks!

Looks like it's only ESPNU though, not ESPN3, so you have to have a subscription to ESPNU to be able to view it....which sucks.
