Sounds like we'll be back in Macomb around noonish. We pull out of the hotel at 8:15, flight is 10 eastern, which should put us back in the QC around 10:30 central. Maybe half an hour to get stuff and us on the buses, then 90 minutes home. I don't know if there's anything planned back at Western Hall in terms of anyone being there or whatever, but I'll keep you all updated on our return travels if you want.

Thank you Mayor Inman for making the drive down to the game with your daughter and her friend.

Leathernecks battle early, fall to FSU.
From Saturday's McDonough County Voice:

The Pep Band was shown several times throughout the game.

There was not much of a pre-game show on TV. Viewers instead saw the first 8 minutes of the Michigan State game before ESPN2 switched over to our game at 6:46 PM.

One of the ESPN2 announcers had worked our Summit League Tournament championship game last week. Both announcers had many good things to say about Western. Good publicity!

Western's website is saying that the team is expected back at Western Hall today at 1:30 PM. Fans are being encouraged to show up to welcome them back.

The home baseball game vs IPFW will now start at 2PM today (instead of 1PM).

Just arrived in the quad cities. Still on the plane, so probably about 1:30 is right for getting back to Macomb.

Quick update, looks like the band will be back around 1:30, women's basketball team is stopping for Chipotle in Moline first, will probably be a bit later for them.

President Thomas was there. So was Cathy Early (Chair of the Western Board of Trustees).
