As near as I can tell, it doesn't look like we're doing an "elementary school day" at a home game this year, which is unfortunate because the last couple of years it's been a really unique energy in the arena and it was fun to go and sit with my daughter and her class at the game.

The radio guys were saying that their average attendance is about what ours is for women's games. There were nearly 8k kids there today, and it was so loud it was kinda hard to listen to on the radio. A great win for the Leathernecks.

Looks like they are getting bigger crowds than we are for Women's BB. So far this year, the attendance at the other Wichita State's Women's BB games has been 1,517, 2,115, and 1,988.

We have had home crowds of 928, 601, 352, 469, and 501.

On the WRMS Radio Post-Game Show, Coach J.D. Gravina said: "Playing in front of 6,000 screaming kids made for an awesome atmosphere and our kids really fed off the energy."
