Ouch. Holiday hangover in Whiskey Town tonight. Had a great 1st qtr. It was all Bradley from that point forward.

My two cents is we were doing too much dribbling into the paint. Made a few but forced quite a few which did not fall.
We are a .500 team in the Summit playing like we did tonight. On to Fort Wayne where it counts.
Embrace the pace of the race.

Bradley won the game 87-80.

87 is the most points that Bradley has scored against a Division 1 opponent.

At one time in the first half, Western had an 18 point lead. But Bradley out-scored Western 18-11 in the 2nd qr and 29-13 in the 3rd qr.

Emily Clemens led the Western scoring with 21 points. Taylor Higginbotham had 15. Sam Pryor had 12. Morgan Blumer had 11. Olivia Braun had 10.

Taylor Higginbotham fouled out with 5:24 left in the game.

There was a 30-point swing in this game. Western went from 18 points up to 12 points down.

I noticed that Bradley had a Pep Band at the game. Wonder how they are able to have a Pep Band for these semester-break games while Western does not ??????

Very disappointing loss for the women. I don't know what it is about the Bradley women, but I really wanted them to beat up on them

Yes, we felt the pain up here in the suburbs too. My wife is a Peoria girl who dated a Bradley basketball player for a while and she was anxious to see the Leathernecks beat up on the Braves. But the Braves really took it to the Necks in the 4th quarter. I have always said that the way to win a ball game is to keep scoring to the end. If you do, the opposition is forced to take chances defensively which did them in instead of giving them the win! ;) jc
