Is anyone else having trouble with the sound on the live stream? It seems like there has been issues on every stream this season. This is quite embarrassing for a D1 institution.

Western wins 78-70.

Omaha outscored Western 30-16 in the 4th qr to make the game more competitive. Western's largest lead was 25 points with 9:04 left in the game.

Taylor Higginbotham led the Western scoring with 20 points. Annabel Graetinnger had 19. Olivia Kaufmann had 17.

Attendance at Western Hall = 712.

Next game will be at Western Hall on Saturday (Jan 19). It will be a Women's / Men's double-header with Purdue Fort Wayne. The Women play first at 4:30 PM.

Me too. Then there was that stretch where the camera was not following the action. I turned it off and went to bed knowing they could win this one without my help.

I got "dead air" when I turned on Macomb radio station 104.1 FM last night. I had to pick up the game on the Beardstown station WRMS (94.3 FM).

Macomb is in the "fringe area" of the WRMS signal.

This team is getting better! It's been fun to see how far along they've come since the beginning of this year and I think that speaks volumes to how good JD and Co. are at player development. This is not their most talented bunch but they still are fun to watch. That 3rd quarter was absolutely beautiful basketball. Now, the 4th quarter was nearly as bad as the 3rd one was good, but this team wasn't capable of a 3rd quarter like that a few months ago. If we see more of that team we saw in the 3rd quarter, we'll be seeing some big wins here down the stretch IMO.

Also, are we befitting of the title "Point Guard U" for non-P5 WBB!? Henricson, Maher, Clemens and now Kaufmann? I'd imagine that crew stacks up pretty well versus its competition.
