#1 South Dakota State beat #8 Purdue Fort Wayne 88-50.
#2 South Dakota beat #7 North Dakota State 74-51.
Attendance for Saturday's quarter-finals = 7,137.

Oral Roberts up 32-20 at the half.
Cold shooting for Western in the first half: 6 of 33 (14%).
3 fouls for Taylor Higginbotham. 2 fouls for Olivia Kaufmann.

Fought back to get close, but fell by 4. If I had to put money on one of our teams making it to the second round...I would not have been betting on the men's team.

Oral Roberts won the game 68-64.
Western finishes the season with a 12-18 record.
Olivia Kaufmann led the Western scoring with 16 points. Taylor Higginbotham had 15. Annabel Graettinger and Kyra Washington each had 11.
Western did shoot better (15 for 30) in the second half.
Western was 14 for 22 on free throws.

North Dakota beat Denver 80-67 in Sunday's second game.
North Dakota went on a 16-0 run to end the game.
The semi-finals are now set for Monday:
12 Noon: #1 South Dakota State vs #4 Oral Roberts.
2:30 PM: #2 South Dakota vs #6 North Dakota.
Both games will be on Midco Sports Network and ESPN+.
Attendance for the Sunday afternoon session = 2,971.

In Monday's first semi-final game, #1 South Dakota State beat #4 Oral Roberts 86-55.

In Monday's second semi-final game, #2 South Dakota beat #6 North Dakota 84-61.
Attendance for the afternoon session = 6,214.
#1 South Dakota State will play #2 South Dakota in Tuesday's championship game. The game will be on ESPNU at 1:00 PM.

I hear a lot of people talk about how big of an advantage the SD teams have playing our tournament in Sioux Falls. While that might be true, I’m pretty sure this year @SDCoyotesWBB and @GoJacksWBB would meet in the finals even if I hosted the tourney in my driveway. #TheyGood
