South Dakota State won the game 75-45.

27 of Western's points came on three-point shots (9 for 37).

Western shot 23% (16 for 70). South Dakota State shot 42% (24 for 57).

Sam Pryor led the Western scoring with 12 points.

Attendance at South Dakota State = 2,020 (year appropriate )

Next game will be at Western Hall on Thursday (Jan 9) vs Purdue Fort Wayne.

I would say we didn't bother to show up.

22.9% FG made
24.3% 3pt made
30.8% FT made
10/15 A/TO ratio

Not going to win with that kind of performance.

I guess the silver lining as at least all 11 healthy players got into the game.

Listened to gamewhile driving from Denver to QC because we missed our Chicago connecting flight. The injury to Zars sounded serious. Anyone see it happen? Injuries taking their toll this year.

She appeared to come down awkward as Burckhard went for steal around her. It was not much different from when SDSU Theisen went down in a game. Theisen is out for the season on a play that did not look unusual at all. Zars had gone down harder earlier on a rebound play that she sat out for awhile that may or may not be associated. She seemed to be moving fine later. Se picked up 2 early fouls that kept her out for a long stretch in first half.

P.S. All 10 healthy players made the score sheet.
