Denver won the game 84-78.

Danni Nichols led the Western scoring with 24 points. Olivia Kaufmann had 23 points and 10 rebounds. Carla Flores had 11 points.

Western ends the regular season with a 15-14 record.

Attendance at Denver = 1,390.

Next game will be on Sunday March 8 vs Oral Roberts in the Summit League Tournament at Sioux Falls. Game time will be 12 Noon.

Disappointing loss but I think I would rather play ORU in Sioux Falls than NDSU which, had we won, would be the case.
NDSU always has good fan support 3 hours south in Sioux Falls. ORU brings a really good band and that is it.
