This is a big game for the conference race. Will the Leathernecks have some fans show up for this game? I would have expected JD to do another promotion to bring some fans. Maher will get some recognition as the all time 3 pt shooter. The Leathernecks should get this home game.

Today will be "ROTC / Military Appreciation Day".

Michelle Maher will be honored before the game for breaking the three-point record.

That is good to see. The problem with having outstanding players like Ashley and Garret is that the other team locks them down with double teams, etc. Others have to realize that the door is wide open for them to step up their game. OK, who's turn is next for a career game? Nothing wrong with a couple of them at the same time either.

I took a break from AAU softball and spent yesterday pm at the Stetson/USC Upstate women's game. Stetson looked pretty good. Lots of trees on that campus and they planted them very close together in their central/common area. A few students were studying and hanging out in their hammocks strung between them. Don't see that too often in the middle of January. In a couple of months, they will probably be skipping classes to get to the best trees for the day. ;)
Embrace the pace of the race.
