Both teams come in with identical 7-4 conference records. Let the jockeying for conference tournament seed positions begin right now. In that respect, this may be our most critical game to date. Win this one and we still have destiny in our hands to land nothing less than a #2 seed although it will be a difficult journey. There are obvious benefits to getting a #1 or #2 slot in the tournament and the biggest one may be that you play on Saturday and get Sunday off if you win. However, walk away with a loss in this one, and you could be staring down a #6 seed as we are only 1-3 against the four remaining teams on our schedule. So is this one important? Yessiree Bob. Last couple of games Ashley has thrown up a few step back jumpers from 10-12 feet. She will be unstoppable if she gets confident and consistent with that shot.

Great move by Tori. Sometimes Ashley does her best work as a decoy.

thanks for the info on the feed, it was a great feed. I watched the 2nd half and no problems. Great win for the ladies. Announcer said that was IUPUI 1st loss in conference play at home.

So there I was driving the final 50 miles of our escape from the cold, and the traffic from the construction through Tampa was a bit testy at best. People flying way too fast for me but maybe I am just getting old. Seemed like the score from IUPUI's stat page was 48-45 In WIU's favor but the traffic was bad and I decided to let it go and concentrate on the rode ahead. As we pulled into the condo the game had already been decided which was just fine with me. Huge statement game! IUPUI is no push over and they can only be beaten by a great team effort. They are really getting hot at the right time. 4 to go with a the chance to go deep into the Summit League tourney! ;) jc
