One of the Richter sisters, Allison placed 5th in the shot and 3rd in the disc last year in the 2A state finals. Abigale , placed 9th in the 800 with a 2:20 and finished top 50 in the state cross country meet last fall. Coach Stevenson was left with an absolute mess and he is slowly working his magic with both programs. The addition of a bonafide distance coach is also really making a difference, especially with two of the men's long distance runners. Younkin has been red shirted for the spring and is really going to be a fine 400 man. WIU's All-American in the triple jump and national qualifier in the long jump is red-shirting this year but will be back ready to go when indoor starts in 2017. ;) jc
