3rd place finish and #3 seed for the softball team. Now go make some noise in the conference tournament.

Disappointing loss to the 6th seed.

Sad they lost but even sadder they dont go with a true double elim tournament format. Piece of cake for six teams and only two more games than the setup they have and still could be done in four days. Who wants to go all the way to Fargo and leave after a one and done? Why Tom Douple, why?
Embrace the pace of the race.

Didn't they used to do just the top 4 teams in a true double elimination? Adding the 2 extra teams ended up with a single elimination 3/6 and 4/5 matchup with the winners going into a double elimination with the 1 and 2 seeds.

I think the four team scenario was the case in previous years and the men's tournament continues to be that way with six teams in league. So much for gender equity.
Embrace the pace of the race.
