No full schedule announcement, but I figured I could start a thread talking about it, so we can start posting news when we find it.

Starting with this...

I wonder if last year's success is paying dividends with better scheduling options.

Stanford is a good get for the Leathernecks. BTW, Stanford sponsors 20 varsity sports for their ladies. That is 3 more than Western sponsors for both genders. This might be a trip I will have to do. December is not much cooler than August out there (only 10 degrees or so). Some people credit Mark Twain with the famous quote “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” I spent a couple weeks out there on business and have to agree that it can be a bit chilly when the fog rolls in off the ocean. The temperature can drop 20 degrees in 10 minutes when that happens. But back to Twain. That quote is "fake news". He never said it. You can take it to the bank.

Have been told by one of the players (Sorry don't know if I should name her) that they're playing at NIU on a Saturday but I cannot remember which month it is. I was also told by this player that they have the full schedule but told me that it could change. She also wasn't for sure when it will be released to the public.

Thanks for the info. Don't feel like you have to name your source. It's good to have the info, but not at the cost of getting someone in trouble.

I'd imagine there's probably a couple of "handshake" agreements where the final details need to be worked out or the contract hasn't been officially signed. We've seen in the past a general hesitancy to release athletics schedules until details are all finalized.

Sad the in-state schools don't want to play you. It should not be that way. State legislature should mandate play between the public universities. At least a couple games a year - alternate teams in round-robin schedule format.
