One vote. He came in second....by...one....vote.

Quick update, here's the vote totals and breakdown:
1. Darius Jackson, DE, Jacksonville State: 29-18-20-11-5-304
2. Brett Taylor, LB, Western Illinois: 32-20-12-9-9-303

Those numbers are: 1st place votes, 2nd place votes, 3rd, 4th, 5th, total points (A first-place vote was worth five points, a second-place vote four points, a third-place vote three points, a fourth-place vote two points and a fifth-place vote one point.)

Taylor actually got 32 1st place votes (to Jackson's 29), 20 2nd place votes (to Jackson's 18), but Jackson had 20 3rd place votes (to Taylor's 12) and 11 4th place votes (to Taylor's 9).

Somehow 1st place votes should be worth more than just 1 pt more than 2nd place.

Wow. What a joke. Congrats to other guy tho, I guess. More third place votes gets you first? Laughable.

Yeah, this ^^^^^. Because fewer people think you deserve places 3, 4, or 5, and more of them think you belong 1 or 2 you lose. Dumbest thing I've ever heard.
