My oldest son is a third year student at Michigan Technological University he telsl me they have received 270 inches of snow this year, 10 inches in the last week. Last year, we went to their spring game at Michigan Tech and had to wait for the field to be cleared of the 14 inch snow fall they had the day before. So, please let me know if I need to bring my snow gear for a game in the banana belt. Just kidding, but the snow is melting fast here in Minnesnowta with the rain tomorrow most of it will be gone by the weekend.
Well, we don't get all the lake-effect snow they get up in Michigan, but this is really late in the year to have snow on the ground for us. Most of what came down last weekend (~3 inches in Macomb) is gone already (and with highs in the 60s-70s over the next couple of days, it'll all be gone soon). There is still a chance of snow in the forecast for this coming Sunday though....so we'll see. If we do have some snow closer to the spring game, I doubt it'll be much.

Well....yeah. It's not much, we're just not used to getting snow this late at all.
So....I guess...come to Macomb to get away from (most) of the snow, then?

If you're out and about it in, stay safe. We hope to see you and your family at many Leatherneck football games over the next few years.

Hearing of some strong storms there also. We are used to these types of storms, it is just not something which happens in April. The outlook says more snow on Wednesday for us the day we plan on leaving but 60 degrees by Friday so expecting short weather there.
