Western Volleyball won its first match of the season 25-12, 25-14, 25-15 over Fairleigh Dickinson.

Attendance at Western Hall = 269.

Western Volleyball will play 2 matches on Saturday:
2PM: vs Tennessee Tech.
7PM: vs Evansville.

Both of those matches will be on the free Leatherneck All-Access.

Tennessee Tech won Saturday afternoon's match 3-1 (25-23, 15-25, 25-22, 25-12).

Attendance at Western Hall = 154.

Evansville won Saturday night's match 3-2 (24-26, 23-25, 27-25, 25-23, 15-11).

Attendance at Western Hall = 202.

Volleyball will be at Bradley on Friday for a 6PM match.

Unfortunately looks like it will be another long year for the volleyball team,. Hopefully they will get better as the season goes on as they get more familiar with their new coach.

FGCU smoked us this morning. Not surprising given they are a school on the beach and have a spring beach volleyball schedule.

North Dakota won the Summit League opener on Friday night: 25-22, 19-25, 25-20, 18-25, 15-8.

Attendance at Western Hall = 143.

Next match will be September 25 at Purdue-Fort Wayne.

Purdue Fort Wayne won the Wednesday night match 23-25, 25-9, 25-16, 25-14.

Attendance at PFW = 368.

Next match will be Friday at Omaha.

Western won its second match of the season last Friday by beating North Dakota State 3-1.

Western Volleyball is now 2-24 (1-12 in the Summit).

Attendance at North Dakota State = 1,019.

Volleyball will be home on Tuesday vs Omaha. Game time is 6PM. Women's Basketball vs Missouri will follow this volleyball match.
