If the IRS is giving these guys a 501(c)(3) status, something is wrong with the system.
Embrace the pace of the race.

President Thomas: Rally for Love.

Dear University Community,

On November 17, members of the Western Illinois University community, our local community and several individuals from other cities and universities joined together in support of our LGBTQIA+ community and the inclusive environment we have at Western and in Macomb.

I would like to thank the Rally for Love organizers, which included students, faculty, staff, and community members, local organizations, as well as everyone who attended, for making the rally a success. The outpouring of compassion, humanity, and support demonstrated Western's mission and values, and showed the world that WIU is committed to equity, civility, inclusion, diversity, mutual respect, and peace.

We will further build on the November 17 rally and continue our work together to encourage a respectful, civil, supportive, and peaceful community.

Thank you again for celebrating diversity. That is the Leatherneck way.

Sincerely,

Jack Thomas
President
