Baseball looks to end four-game skid against Oral Roberts.

Western won Friday's game 8-5.

Weather: Lower 50's, cloudy.

Attendance at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium = 189.

Game 2 will be Saturday at 1:00 PM.

Western won Saturday's game 7-3.

Weather: 60's, sunny.

Attendance at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium = 217.

The series will conclude with a 1:00 PM game on Sunday.

217 in attendance is a pretty nice crowd. I don't think I've ever been to a Bradley Baseball game (at the "swank" Dozer Park) where there were more than 200 in attendance. Of course weather is the big X factor this time of year. :D

Due to expected rain in the area, the Sunday (April 7) series finale has been moved from 1 p.m. to 12 noon.

Or maybe we have found out that we actually have a good baseball team! If you look at the Oral Roberts scores, they have played some really good competition and have some quality victories. My suggestion is for to look at the glass half full instead of half empty on the day WIU swept Oral Roberts! Just sayin! ;) jc

Western won Sunday's game 11-7 to sweep the three-game series.

This was the first time that Oral Roberts has been swept in a conference series.

Attendance at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium = 282.

Next game will be a home re-match with Bradley on Tuesday (April 9). Game time is 4:00 PM.
