Big wave of offers went out this weekend for 2020 guys, mostly in the Indianapolis area. Most of the guys have a handful (or more) of FBS offers...lots of MAC schools, even some Big 10 and others. Like I mentioned last year, mostly guys we don't really have a chance of getting to sign right away, but we get our foot in the door if things don't work out and they transfer down to FCS.

Zero homeboys (as in Land of Lincolners). That is strange.
Embrace the pace of the race.

I don't know much about Illinois HS football. But I would like to see us put some emphasis on kids within a 2 hr radius of Macomb. Would definitely help with game attendance and also wouldn't hurt enrollment either, if some of their friends started seeing WIU as cool place to go to school.

Seems like Tom Anthony has been concentrating on Iowa, with him being from Iowa it makes sense. I've seen a lot of offers to Des Moines area kids.

A ton of offers went out yesterday. I'll do my best to get the spreadsheet updated, but it may take a while.

Ok, since the offers keep coming, I'm going to change up how I do things.
From now on, I plan on retweeting any of the offer tweets through the Leatherneck Nation twitter account. If you're interested in seeing all of the offers that are going out, you can follow along here: https://twitter.com/LeatherneckFans

I'm going to be on vacation next week, but I think I'll clean up the spreadsheet so that we just have players who have said they're verbally committed to Western. Otherwise, we get a giant list of 200+ players every year that is kinda unwieldy.

yeah it is getting crazy on how many kids they are offering, I hope WIU doesn't become one of those schools that offers 300 or 400 kids.I like that they are offering kids from across the country, but I want an offer to mean something also when they do.

Maybe i was dreaming or it was a 2019 recruit, but I could have swore I saw where a 2020 recruit committed to WIU, I just assumed Scott would post it. Anyone remember seeing anything.
