Technically not 2020 yet, but I figured I'd start posting any changes to the roster going into next year that I come across.
First up:

LB Tre Hendon is going to do a grad transfer. Hendon redshirted in 2016, played in 12 games in 2017 with 16 tackles, played in 6 games in 2018 with 4 tackles, and played in 8 games with 5 tackles this last year.

MOVING ON: WIU turning the page on the 2019 season.

That sounds ominous. Hopefully more "rebuild mode" rather than "fleeing a sinking ship".

It’s just that time of the year. End of season Coaches meetings and players that want to leave getting into the Portal.

Darron Wheeler, Senior DB from Ypsilanti, MI
Played as a true freshman in 2016 in 9 games, 12 games as a sophomore, then 10 as a Junior in 2018. Was injured before the 2019 season and had leg surgery, so he did not play (redshirt) this last season.
He will be doing a grad transfer:

I hope this doesn't get ugly. Starting from scratch would not be a good thing.

I agree! But, this is exactly what the program needs to do. In fact, it has to. Can the current coaching staff achieve this goal. I do not think so.
