Starting a new thread for other MVFC news that doesn't fall into any other category.

Starting with NDSU LB Jabril Cox entering the transfer portal. Cox was the 2017 MVFC Newcomer and Freshman of the Year, and 2018 Defensive Player of the Year, as well as a first team All-MVFC LB in both 2018 and 2019.

USD is doing something very interesting with their Dome renovation. They are putting all of the suites/loges at the LOWEST level. The AD says they are so low you can be in there, reach down, and "high 5" the players. I like this design approach. Maybe the covered dome makes it more doable but something we should consider when and if we get to that point. You can take a tour of the in-progress construction on their site. I could not grab a link to the video tour.
Embrace the pace of the race.

As noted above, USD will have 10 executive suites and 15 loge boxes on their newly-renovated west side of the Dakota Dome.

The 10 executive suites will be situated between the two 35-yard lines. They will be high-walled areas with their own access and will offer a private, secluded area and 12 luxury padded seats. Amenities include a catered menu with expanded food and beverage options, an in-suite refrigerator, and a private flat-screen television.

The 15 loge boxes will be stationed between the goal line and 35-yard line on both sides of the west seating area. A smaller version of the executive suites, the loge boxes can accommodate eight guests in luxury padded seats. Similar amenities are available with a catered menu that includes expanded food and beverage options and an in-suite refrigerator.

crazy cause if I remember right he had verbally committed to WIU but then reopened his recruiting once Nielsen left.

You are remembering right, that's pretty much exactly how it went down.

Their HC is pretty familiar with him (might have even recruited him some out of HS) so it makes sense.
HC Chris Klieman went to and coached at UNI a few different times (as well as spending a couple of years as our DBs coach) on his way to NDSU before becoming K-State's HC last year.
