No commitments yet, but a few more offers went out today, including an interesting one for Davon Townley from Minneapolis North HS.
We offered him in basketball (6'6" PF), but he's also got offers from Iowa State, Central Michigan...in football (he's a TE/DE on that side of things).

I wonder if Coach Jeter might work with Coach Elliott to give the kid a chance to do both basketball and football here. If he's going FBS, he probably would have to choose one or the other, but a smaller school might be more likely to let him do both.

Mike is ranked in the top 10 by must rankings and had offers from Kansas Baylor and many other top power programs.

Ryan Maas (Pekin) would be a local IMHO so not that long ago. As for kids getting a lot of playing time, that will take a little more research. Let's hope it is not Brad Bainter. LOL

Yeah I was thinking more on scholarship as Ryan was a walk on i believe. Arsenio Mims and Billy Molinari would be my guess though i don't know if Billy was actually on scholarship.

I know it wouldn't be that far back. Corey Fosdyk was a couple of years younger than me and was from Macomb. IDK if there was anyone more recent than that though.

Looks like this kid has reclassified to 2022 and hoping the extra year gets him some bigger offers.
