My wish came true. This year, I can bid online for items in the Purple and Gold Gala auction. Took a worldwide pandemic to make it happen, but I will call that progress. lol

Students and faculty participating in face-to-face classes at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign this fall must be tested for COVID-19 twice a week, the university announced Monday.

The mandatory saliva-based testing, developed by U. of I. researchers, will begin for students on August 16, a week before classes are set to start.

UIUC estimates there will be anywhere from 5,000 to 15,000 fewer students on campus this fall compared with a regular semester.

Now why didn't I think of this. Lots of hotels going underutilized these days, some on the brink of closing for good. This is a great way to keep them occupied. Assuming they can keep everyone safe, of course.
