Other than MVC champion Loyola, which received an 11 seed in the NCAA tournament and meets No. 6 seed Miami in the first round Thursday at Dallas, Drake is the only other Missouri Valley school continuing its season. The Bulldogs host Abilene Christian in the CIT on Monday afternoon.

So I noticed several teams have turned down bids for other tournaments is it normal for this many teams to do that or are they trying to prove a point. I get it if you are someone like Saint Mary's or Ok St and you should have been in the big dance turned down a bid out of anger but if you are a team who doesn't make postseason tournaments don't you owe it to the seniors and the fan base. If WIU was good enough to get into a tournament and they turned it down I would be super pissed.

Fort Wayne finished 4th in the Summit League with a 7-7 record (18-14 overall).

Tickets for that game in Fort Wayne are only $1. IPFW students will be admitted free with student ID.
Drake hosted a collegeinsider.com game today and they had free admission for everyone.

While admission was free to all for Monday's game as part of Community Day at the Knapp Center, fans were encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.

USD looks like they have no desire in this game making the conference look bad.

Mooney out there looks like some guys we've had being all about himself 8-28 from the field and 2-14 from 3 after he shot 9-26 and 3-11 from 3 in the championship game.
