Hoping we enough to pick a win vs Mo State, but who knows at this point. Snake bit season for sure.
Who all is out? I've never actually seen a list of who's hurt anywhere. I mean, we know about Brunner and Max Norris; and that Sampson went out last week, and I think I saw Huston limping after his score. Who else is out?

I put together a post elsewhere of what I could figure out from the 2-deep...

All I really know for sure is the 2-deep for this weekend's game, which shows:
Senior RB Max Norris - out all season so far
Junior RB Vic Johnson - out all season so far
Junior RB Kendon Walker - out last weekend against Montana State, listed as out again this weekend
Senior RB Deontez Thompson - in (minor injury in the UNA game, was out against Colorado State, but back against Montana State last weekend and listed on 2-deep for this weekend)
Senior WR John Brunner - out all season so far, spotted at Montana State game on the sideline in a walking boot
Senior DB Darron Wheeler - out all season (see below)

The only one I've seen posting about things online is DB Darron Wheeler, who had surgery a couple of weeks ago and it doesn't really he'll be back in 2019

In addition to those guys, we know Sampson had something going on with his ankle. Haven't heard if fracture, sprain, or strain...each one has it's own timetable for recovery....guess we'll see at Homecoming.
Might be another guy or two who are on the line. If I get a chance tomorrow, I'll see if I can dig through the participation lists and see who all has played in what games and if there's any guys that we expected to be playing that aren't.
So, other than Darron Wheeler, it doesn't appear the defense has lost anyone?

Greg Benton is out. He’s a backup inside LB that was getting a lot of reps early. Remember his name, he’s the next stud WIU LB

Hypothetical question (since I don't know if any of the players involved are even interested in this or not) - those who are out due to injury, would they have a chance to extend their eligibility for another year? Like I said, it may not even be in their minds, but just curious as to what options are open to them.

Some might. Depends on their individual situation. If they haven't taken a redshirt year and played less that 4 games this season, they should be able to count this as the redshirt year. If they have taken a RS year, and are wanting to claim this as a medical hardship year (sometimes known as medical redshirt), they need to have played in fewer than 1/3 of games before having a season-ending injury, and then it's up to the NCAA. They kinda take that on a case-by-case basis.

I would imagine that most of the guys out all season will likely at least apply for their 6th year, assuming they still want to play.

Due to the Sunday morning rain, the annual Homecoming Cardboard Boat Regatta and Chalk the Campus, both originally scheduled for today, have been re-scheduled to 3-5 p.m. (Regatta) and 5-7 p.m. (Chalk) on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

My 2 cents. Nielson no huddle was more uptempo. But mixing it in every now and then might keep the defense on heels.

That may be true, but I was never a fan of Nielson's "no-huddle". It seemed to screw up more often than it worked.
