Just saw that Danny Stephens, who I believe was a walk on at Mizzou, has entered the transfer portal. Maybe he would like to get closer to home.

Yeah i just saw where Chris Duerr tweeted out that WIU could be a likely landing spot..Also it looks like we are offering up some guys that we missed out on last year that went to bigger schools but are now in the portal…I dont see us having much of a chance on Bryce Heard but it would be nice.  I wish Brandon Weston would reconsider WIU but im sure he left Tennessee State to try to get to a bigger school again..

Maybe make it a combo I believe he’s still dating Abby Schreacke. She would really be a great shooter for the women’s team

I wonder if any of the guys had graduated and wanted to get home or get closer to home, or if it was basically a reset by the coaching staff?

So do you think any coaches have incentive bonus clauses related to the transfer portal in their contracts?   Like if number of portal transfers < X at end of year, earn an extra Y dollars.  You come up with your own X and Y.
 

I listened to nearly every postgame interview.  My gut says coach wants to do a total reset and go after "Batmans" instead of "Robins" for the upcoming year.

Yeah me too and thats what I personally think as well.  I almost think a remember Coach H saying there was only gonna be a couple guys probably coming back and that was before the last game
 

It seems to be the new norm....rebuild almost every team every year, and any player with success ends up trying move upwards.
