When you can't run the ball or don't have confidence in running the ball, football is a difficult game to play.

4th and 10 at the 40 down 5 late in 4th, you go for it IMO.

Third quarter killed us.  We got soft.

Winning this game wouldn't have meant shit, but this f'ing program is a joke and the joke is actually on me/us for caring.

Can't believe I was actually watching and caring about this game like it matters.

Sorry, I love Western, but don't think we'll ever come out of this shit.  I wish the best for all the coaches and players, but very sad.
 
 
 

Listened to game out in Iowa on my phone.  I think we are putting too much pressure on our Freshman QB, we are not running the ball well.  Defense wasn't real bad gave up some plays to their big WRs.  I hope we can win one more game and not lose our hs commits.

I hate losing anytime but I hate losing to a team of thugs more.

The one thing I know right now is Myers was fired after year 2 playing a lot tougher schedule than we are now, and I also feel that Davis benefited last year with the switch to the OVC and a lot of the work done by the previous staff.  If Myers only got 2 years to right the ship (which in my opinion we were better off with him as coach) how long is Davis gonna get?
 
 
 

I’m not sure that this team beats those winless teams we had. A few years ago I would have said at least we have some really good a young players to look forward to but there most likely gone in this day and age.
