Tough loss today.  Carswell not playing as well lately.  Defense is laying better than last year where we were giving up 40 points a game.  Next week will be tough game hope for the best.

I think this is the first time I have questioned the legitimacy of a game. Something, lots of little things seemed off.

It seemed like it was over after the first drive of the second half. We drive down the field with Holman and then they take him out and we miss a FG and then semo 1st play they run it back for the TD.

Not sure what you are hinting at as I didn't see the game, but listening on the radio, BJ and Dr Tom were really questioning some of the officials calls, so not sure if that is what you are talking about or something deeper.

Another game that WIU was in control
of at halftime and let slip away. More yards, less penalties, more TOP but the missed field goals and turnovers hurt. Carswell looked very panicked most of the game. Every time Holman comes out something goes awry.

6 one score games this fall in which WIU is 2-4. Not sure if that’s progress or not. Tough loss.

I really like listening to BJ and Dr Tom.  Always pipe them in and mute the TV feed.  They have been pretty hard on the officials this year particularly when it comes to spotting the ball.  Maybe it is just me watching a lot of football, pro and college, but have the rules changed this year when it comes to spotting the ball after a play is dead?  It seems to me that this year, the officials are consciously choosing to spot the ball directly on a yard marker rather than somewhere between the yard markers even if that would be the more accurate spot.  I get it makes determing first downs a whole lot easier and avoids bringing out the chains.

What bothers me on the TV broadcast is that there in no down and distance at all.
