Yes, we do, and yes we would pay them less than we get for traveling to another D1. The point is to earn extra money in the OOC games to help cover other costs for the program.

Unfortunately, we do not have the money to be paying a D1 to come play at Western Hall generally. Usually we do H&H series with D1s, get paid to go play at other D1s with more money, and pay lower division schools to come play here.

The one exception to that that I’ve seen is a multi-team event. Idk what the financial situation is with that, but we are hosting one next weekend with WIU playing Coastal Carolina on Friday, CCU playing North Dakota on Saturday, then WIU playing UND on Sunday…all at Western Hall.

Cal Baptist announced they are dropping wrestling, men's golf and men's swimming and diving. Said the moves were necessary if they wanted to be competitive in D1 sports, they are moving to the Big West conference next year.
