Well, we manage to get it done. McGill had a huge game on the ground. For most of this season, I have been scratching my head wondering how good we would be with him a true RB and Carswell as the QB. Tied for first place in OVC now. Cant complain too much.

Western wins 42-35.
Western gave Charleston Southern 21 points on Turnovers:
2 Pick-Six
1 Fumble returned for a TD.
#17 Kennedy McGill was 14 of 20 for 180 yards. 1 Touchdown. 2 Interceptions -- both were pick-six. He also rushed 35 times for 295 yards. He scored 4 Touchdowns.
Western had 567 Total Yards: 209 yards Passing. 368 yards Rushing.
Attendance at Charleston Southern = 4,055

Sounds like Charleston Southern didn't really do much offensively in the second half, we gave them all their points. Glad to see they pulled it out with that last drive. Tied for first place.

WIU football has been on Sportscenter this AM and McGill got a “helmet sticker” on ESPN college football final show.
Defense was dominant in 2nd half and the game winning 10 play 99 yard drive was one for the ages.
Hope this team has some magic for a November run.
