WGEM television in Quincy will have a report tonight at ten about more cuts to come at WIU. They usually have the story on their website after it runs.

Without a doubt, all of the Illinois neighboring states are doing much better holding down costs. How do you compete with them? One way is to establish a state-wide university system. Having some schools in and some out of the existing university system is totally asinine. The state of Montana took that initiative back in 1994 because the state was cutting funding and where are they now?

Well guess we ought to keep Baseball, I just saw a pic of today's game and the stands are filled and there is people sitting near the dug outs as well due to lack of room. Is a perfect day for a free game it is to bad that the only concessions that new seating has is a crappy wooden box that they sell soda and candy out of.
