No information? That is concerning. Why is Western operating an amateur coaching search? Northern Arizona, East Tennessee, and Tennessee Tech all wrapped up the their search by today. I understand getting the hire right, but days are precious. It’ll be at least December 8th. I’m thinking more like December 15 and that isn’t a good sign.

I would say be patient and let the process play out. I believe you will be happy when it’s all said and done.

That’s not really concerning I remember when we hired fisher him and another candidate came in and the community voted on the candidate and the other candidate even dropped out. I wasn’t looking for names I just wasn’t sure if they had trimmed the list down im sure there were probably a few candidates that we really didn’t take seriously. Do we know if the candidates needs a masters degree I know that use to be a requirement.

Coaching searches used to operate under patience. It’s not me that’s losing sleep. It’s the players, as I have been told. Several contemplating transferring or at least testing the waters of the portal. Remember, for them it’s already been two weeks. They want to know they’re in good hands.

Better watch out I bet a lot of schools are begging to get our players who have one win in 3 yrs

I thought at least some of the players were involved in the search - can't the other players find out from them what type of candidates there are? Not names, necessarily, but strengths/weaknesses, etc.
