Looks like it got blocked but the snap wasn’t great either. I’ll see if I can find the video of it and post it

Not sure, but it looked to me like it got to his foot but didn't get much in the air....so I'd say the second thing you listed.

Special teams is killing us. 2 bad punts from Felner, the block and then giving up big yards on a muffed kick return they should have been down at the 15. The personal foul on the nice punt return.
As I'm typing terrible fumble by Hudson with plenty of room and another bad punt by Felner, bit could have recovered the fumble.

My wife asked if he was saying Jack Rats.....I said I don't know.....I listened closer, yeah he's been calling them the Rats all day.
Also it is pronounced Western Illinoy not Illinoise.
