Watching this game on the ORU stream. One question maybe someone can answer. Seems like all of our players have some sort of book attached to their belt on the front of the uniform. I dont think I have ever seen that before. Maybe a softball pitcher or catcher might have something on the arm but never the whole team. What kind of secrets are we storing on that thing?

Oral Roberts won Sunday's game 13-3. The game was stopped in the 8th inning via the Ten Run Rule.
Western is now 3-20 on the season and 0-3 in the Summit League.
Attendance at Oral Roberts = 607
Next game will be the home opener on Wednesday (April 5) vs Illinois State. Game time is 3:00 PM.

10 BBs given up today. By my count, 7 of the 13 runs were scored by hitters that got on via BB. We ranked 288 out of 295 in that particular stat going into this weekend. Throw less junk, more fastballs over the plate and take your chances.

It's a shame this program is where it is now. We should be in the top-3 of the conference with ORU and Omaha.
How are the Dakota schools better than us already??

Game has been cancelled due to field conditions. In case you weren't aware, we had storms that rolled through yesterday early evening and then again overnight that included heavy rain, up to softball sized hail, and in the southern part of the county and into Fulton county, two tornadoes that caused quite a bit of damage to a few small towns.

Western beat South Dakota State 14-4 on Saturday.
Western scored 6 runs in the 8th inning which ended the game via the Ten Run Rule.
Attendance at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium = 133
