The move makes absolute sense to me. I don't like losing the local (Gateway) football schools, but OVC makes so much more sense that legging it out to the Dakotas. I just wish that there could have been a conference more like the Gateway, where there were "local" rivalries with teams - but it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get there. Hope we can do some out of conference games with ISUred, SIU, UNI, and ISUblue (with ISUred and SIU being the top ones I would like to see).

Stinks leaving the MVFC but extremely happy to be out of the summit.  

Beach volleyball is a very real possibility here. Very real. 

 

 

When it comes to sports I want, I feel like this change rules out wrestling anytime in the future. I think it's something we would have a great local talent base for so it stinks.
