The Western announcers mentioned that Tyson Reynold is injured so he was unavailable to play today. Does anyone know what his injury is or how long he is expected to be out?

Western wins 80-78.
ESPN named Garret Covington as Western's "Top Performer": 19 Pts, 10 Reb, 5 Ast, 2 Stl.
There was a big free throw differential in this game. Omaha had 39 attempts and made 25 (64%). Western had 26 attempts and made 20 (77%).
Mike Miklusak led the Western scoring with 21 points.
Attendance at Western Hall was 654.
Attendance at the other Sunday Summit League games:
IUPUI at IPFW = 1,048. IUPUI won 63-58.
South Dakota State at North Dakota State = 3,368. NDSU won 72-69.
South Dakota at Denver = 3,554. South Dakota won 74-69.

When was the last time both teams were 2-0 in conference? I am so glad someone did this research and beat me to the punch 'cause these kind of questions are not easy to answer without a good score database and the right language to query it with. I wonder if they used the manual brute force "peruse the archives" approach to find the answer. If not, I need to get together with them.

Was surprised JC Fuller did not play more in this game wonder if he has a minor injury bothering him some or something?

I think Billy was going with the hot hand(s) and sticking to it/them. However, there is much debate as to whether or not a "hot hand" truly exists:

From my own experiences with basketball, bowling, and playing pool, I think that sometimes you do get into a zone where everything falls or seems to fall your way. I also remember hearing someone say that two round objects (the rim is a round ring of iron) which strike each other will never react exactly the same way twice. So in summary, sometimes you are just damn lucky in life. Enjoy the ride!

Hard to think of using Hot Hands considering JC played 5 min and didn't shoot unless he was off in practice. We won which is awesome was just surprised to not see him on board he has been a unexpected star this year.

Not sure what you've been watching lately 812, but JC's been terrible. Kid has some talent, but if you look at his stats, he's shooting 34% from the field, 17% from 3pt land, and has a pedestrian assist-to-turnover ratio for a point guard. Moreover, it seems to me from being at the last few games, he let's missed shots affect his defensive effort. I don't think Billy looks very favorably upon that.
Plus, in my opinion, Jabari is your 2nd best player. You keep him on the floor every minute you can. And if Batish is on during a given night, that really limits JC's opportunities, particularly the way he's shot the ball lately. It may even get worse for JC if Remy come's back healthy. I like JC, but better shot selection and defensive intensity will need to happen for him to see more minutes.

Not sure about the injury, but I wonder if he will just redshirt (medical) now.
