I spend a lot of time on the road. Not unusual to be staying some place where one or more NCAA teams also hanging out. They are all very pampered with catered meals inside the hotel, etc. Does Macomb even have a hotel with enough space to host catered meals for visiting teams? Seems like all of the visiting football teams are staying beyond the friendly environs of Macomb. If it does not, that is a real problem. Once pampered, it is hard to live a non-pampered life. The world needs more coaches like Greg Kampe of Oakland who savored those chicken fingers at the Sunrise Family Restaurant.

The Hampton has a decent conference rooms and you could get the food from Hy-Vee.
