It's possible they have to wait until the first to officially sign coaches. The state of SD had some rule where they can't sign contacts longer than 1 year. If they sign today then I think they don't have to worry about special exemptions or anything for postseason games (other than the championship game).

That could explain why all the announcements are happening today

The have officially listed them now. He did name a Special Teams coordinator. We will see how long that lasts.

They needed to add a Special Teams coach...because ours wasn't so good and Yelk was in charge of that. Plus our defenses have up a lot of points. They have the same combo running the defense.

We had a young defense outside of the line last year not sure that was all on them but i asked ash about the special teams and he told me they where #115 in the nation when came to special teams coverage.
