Small world time...turns out #58 in the previous one and this following one...I've known him nearly as long as I've been alive (honestly, probably not much more than a few years after these photos were taken). He played in numerous bands with my dad over the years and his oldest son was the best man in my wedding.

So when might we find these pictures and a whole lot more on some kind of interactive and portable kiosk which can be inside Western Hall or wherever else it is needed?

I'm sure 57 could answer for sure, but he was the HC at that time, and from what I've seen of him in photos, it does look like him.

Hopefully the new coaching staff doesn't mind if I occasionally run around the stadium outside of the track while they're practicing. Nielson and his staff never said anything.

Yes, that is Pete. I knew him well. He was the DC when I was at Western...

Maybe it is just me and/or the fact that FB players are a little heavier today, but from the these pictures, I sort of get the impression that today's players do not have the lower extremity muscle that these guys did.
