I could see a smart senior who is likely bound for coaching being incredibly useful in that aspect. Someone like Ceola Clark when he was finishing up here.

Looks like he could be a nice pick up.

Found some high school video of the big kid (#55).

http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/chris-s ... videos.htm

None of his JC stats jump out at me. Not a lot of PT. Only 5-8 FTs for the YEAR. A kid that big should be at least 5-8 EVERY NIGHT.

Small world. Casper is in the same conference as Sheridan which happens to be where Tate "Big Tuna" Stensgaard played for a year. In that tweet picture, Snyder is playing against Otero JC.

Trivia time. What former Leatherneck played for Otero?

Yea, sorry...guess I should have put this into the 2016 thread. From everything I've seen, he is coming here in the fall and will be on the team in the 16/17 season.

Some more info on Chris Snyder.

So looks like he finished the recruiting process as an ESPN 1 Star and the 94th ranked center. Might have been 42 at one time, but still not bad being ranked top 100. Scouting report on him looked pretty promising out of HS.

http://insider.espn.go.com/college-spor ... ris-snyder

He ended up playing 1 year at DII Regis University in CO before going JUCO.

http://www.regisrangers.com/sports/mbkb ... iew=career

Pretty similar path as our earlier trivia answer. Both started DII in Colorado (Link played a semester at UC-Colorado Springs), went JUCO in the Region IX Conference, and ended up at WIU.

Looks like he slimmed down for his freshman year at Regis (listed 280 out of HS) and from the JUCO picture looks to have some muscle added at Casper. With that and the HS scouting report, you'd think he'd be more of a scoring threat, but we'll he how he can help.

Moved the Chris Snyder stuff to the 2016 thread, since he'll be here in the fall.
Also, here's the official announcement: http://goleathernecks.com/news/2016/4/2 ... -team.aspx

Doesn't seem like he has had much success in college basketball so far surprised to see him getting picked up by a DI school even if he was at one time ranked on ESPN. You would like to see him have significant numbers at JUCO especially being 6'10"
